Q: I love to play sports and would love for my girlfriend to play too. She has no interest in trying any sport even though I know she will love it.How do I go about convincing her to try a sport?
Jack's Answer:
Start her off with something simple like bull fighting. If she is not into hurting animals then I would recommend anything that will not frustrate her. I think a nintendo wii would be a great way to introduce her to some sports. It also gives you the privacy of your home so she won't feel embarrassed in front of people. Help teach her the motion of the sport you choose. Always compliment her on the good things that she does. Don't be negative or get on her for doing something wrong. She will never play a sport again if you do this.Make it as fun for her as possible. When you play I would let her win a few here and there so she feels like she is accomplishing something. Hopefully after this she will start to get a little competitive streak in her and want to try new sports.
Jill's Answer:
She should definitely at least TRY a sport without you convincing her. Get her started on Wii sports or something similar to see which one she finds most enjoyable, then see if she will try it out with you. Tell her fifteen minutes to a half hour is all it will take to see if she likes it, and if not you can switch it up to something else. Also you can try bribing her, such as if she plays tennis with you for half an hour you will return the favor with a half hour massage, or dinner at her favorite restaurant. I can't imagine her still saying no. If all else fails, find a girl from the gym who is interested in the same sports as you. Your girlfriend will be crazy jealous and perhaps motivated to join you herself. : D

Q. My coach insists on watching us get dressed for practice and sometimes makes unwanted advances to the other girls, why not me?

Jack's Answer:
I will stick to the question on this one even though I have a few questions of my own. Maybe you are not the coach’s type. Maybe you come across as a person who will not tolerate his or her advancements and tell someone.Maybe you’re not flaunting yourself enough to get noticed. How dare you let the other girls get all the attention? You can’t just sit behind your locker and expect to get noticed. You need to show off what you got and take away the other girls thunder. Either way I think you and your coach have some issues.
Jill's Answer:
Well this is a strange question. If you are in high school, I'd quit worrying why not you and tell the principal who should tell the police. I think the question is why would you want it to be you? Sounds like you have self esteem issues and need to see a therapist.

Q:  My boyfriend thinks I'm an idiot because I don't know what an RBI is in baseball and he won't tell me?  By Lucy

Jack's Answer:
Run batted in. p.s. if you need a new boyfriend I might know someone that is available.  p.p.s. Ask him what tss is...  p.p.p.s  Tell him to shut up.

Jill's Answer:
Simply, an RBI is a run batted in.  He should be promoting your interest in the game, not making you feel stupid.  Research a bit about the game and you'll realize it's a lot more fun to watch if you understand it.
